Lisa Wilson is an event manager by day and true crime researcher and writer by night. Originally from New England, she currently resides in California, USA.
After years of discussing cases with fellow armchair detectives, and serving as jury forewoman in an attempted murder case, Lisa decided to start her own blog. Since then, she’s co-authored several books about high-profile cases, has covered trials from court, interviewed with various legal analysts and media and has dabbled in podcasting, something she plans to do more of in the near future.
Although she has numerous years of experience analyzing cases and criminals, Lisa calls herself Juror13 simply because she identifies more with the public than the talking heads. She comes to her cases as if it’s the first day of trial, and renders conclusions that aren’t always easy to hear. She does this work because she’s fascinated by psychology and compelled by the lessons for humanity. Every case is ultimately about figuring out how did we get here?
