True crime and trial opinions from a layman's perspective

Juror13 wants to know…

Which cases (old or new) are you most interested in following here on the blog? It can be any, it’s not limited to the images below.

And which cases would you like Nick and I to write about as an ebook series?

I look forward to your responses.

A case I have been following for 4 years now…the death of Rebecca Zahau in Coronado, California. She was found allegedly hanging, but was allegedly cut down to administer first aid but she was already dead. Her feet were tied together with thick rope, her hands were tied behind her back, she was gagged with a t-shirt and was found to have 4 contusions on her head. It was ruled suicide by the San Diego Sheriff’s Office (yes, the same office that flubbed up the McStay family case). Rebecca Zahau was the girlfriend of a high profile drug company CEO, Jonah Shacknai, whose son Max was injured in their mansion 2 days before Zahau’s death. Zahau’s family has now filed a wrongful death suit against Dina Shacknai (Jonah’s ex-wife), her twin sister Nina and Adam Shacknai, brother of Jonah, who claimed to have found Zahau hanging. Very interesting case that never looked right from the get-go. Websleuths has the most comprehensive archive of links and documents. I would love to see you delve into this story! Thank you for all you do!

That sounds interesting, Kitty. I haven’t followed this case, but I would like to know more.

JonBenet Ramsey. Her father was an instructor of a class I took in Boulder, Colo before her death. I’ve always been interested in this case.

I know it is not a case yet but is it possible to look at Nataie Wood’s death. I have sent this before but it did not come through.

Hi Aileen… I’m so sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Had some technical difficulties. Natalie Wood would be fascinating to dig into… Let me see if we can fit it into our schedule 🙂
